Tim Hickson is the President of Lasting Change, a devoted husband, father of three, and the owner of a woodworking business. With a deep passion for Jesus and His mission, Tim brings his business expertise and leadership to the forefront. He skillfully blends timeless wisdom with innovative strategies rooted in sustainability and partnership, working to build strong, thriving communities in Haiti. Through his heart for service and his commitment to lasting impact, Tim plays a vital role in driving change and transformation.
Summer Johnson - Treasurer of Lasting Change, wife, mother of two and former aerospace project manager. Summer brings her knowledge of finance to help those whose calling it is to go to the ends of the earth to proclaim Christ’s name.
Steve Gilbert is a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who passionately follows Jesus and His mission. Since his recent retirement, Steve has embraced numerous ministry opportunities with a contagious enthusiasm and a humble heart. His wholehearted commitment to serving others inspires those around him, as he continues to make a meaningful impact through his faith and dedication.
Nate Wells is a husband, father of two, and the senior pastor at Grace and Peace Church in Oceanside, CA. His passion for Haiti and dedication to the mission of Lasting Change is evident in his leadership. Nate is a gifted communicator, whether through personal conversation or storytelling via video and photography, using his talents to inspire and engage others in the important work of serving Haiti.
April Gilbert- Secretary of Lasting Change Haiti, teacher, librarian, and lifelong promoter of education as a means of knowing God and improving one's ability to better their circumstances. April is passionate about working with other cultures and peoples within the body of Christ around the world.
The leadership team in Haiti is made up of passionate followers of Jesus that are excited to serve in their own communities and see the Kingdom of God transform hearts. They are Pastors, community leaders, teachers and nurses, who believe through the Lords transforming grace, change is possible and are fully committed to partnering with Him to achieve it.
We also partner with another leadership team in the northern city of Port De Paix but for security reasons we wont share their photo online.
